The month of February can be a fun, memorable time for everyone! Leave your boyfriends at home and gather all your girls together to celebrate Galentines.  Hosting a party can be stressful…but we’re here to break it down for you so you can enjoy the planning!

First things need to send out cute invites!

Most the time, invites these days are just long texts in a huge group chat. Keep it simple but put in more effort by filling out our template with your date, time, and location! You can easily send this to all your girls, but it’s just more cutsie than the typical text message.

Every party needs a set theme!

Think pinks, reds, violets, etc. Our galentines gathering had pink and red balloons in a variety of shapes whether it was hearts, “love”, lips, rings, etc. We had cow print napkins with a metallic pink cowhide rug! Throw in some red and pink flowers for a nice table decoration. We had a giant balloon arch over the snack table and a furry pink rug tacked onto the wall for a backdrop. Also, make your snacks or sweets match your theme! We had an “xoxo” styled cake and red fruits.

Whip up a boujee pink/red drink!!

On the food table, we had flute wine glasses filled with blueberries, raspberries, yogurt and strawberries topped with granola. This not only is a super cute glass to take pictures with but a healthy little snack as well! Our signature drink matches our theme too..especially sitting next to the “xoxo” cake and red, heart shaped table cloths.

Most galentine parties have breakfast foods but you can do whatever your heart desires! We stuck with the traditional theme of breakfast foods. From heart shaped confetti waffles, strawberry yogurt, donuts, and mimosas, we had all the sweets!! We even had little heart shaped bowls for little chocolate candies

and berries/fruits. The “xoxo” cake had little roses and confetti all over it..making it the most outstanding sweet on the table! Us girls also broke out the chocolates by baking some cookies and eating little dove candies and valentine colored M&Ms.

Last but not least, discuss the fashion dress code. Us girls all showed up in our PJs but had dressy, Valentine themed outfits to have a photoshoot in!! We all had our hair and makeup done to match all of the backdrops. We got creative and matched heart shaped earrings with a heart shaped crossbody purse! Not only did we have a fun, memorable time doing the different photoshoots, but we all have great pictures to have and look back on through the years.

And finally…Instagram everything or it didn’t happen!! Us girls organized a whole collection of pictures to make a Galentines album. We uploaded group selfies and behind the scenes videos. We all cherished each others company and spent great quality time with one another. Galentines will definitely become a yearly thing for us Dales girls now!!
