Athleisure wear is such a big trend…especially recently with everyone spending more time at home due to covid or whatever the reason may be. Sporty clothing pieces are not going away any time soon, so you might as well embrace the trend and join the modern looks! 
Athleisure items are great to wear all year round too. It’s a very comfortable AND presentable look. Wearing sporty clothes may actually motivate you or give you the confidence to go workout!

Do’s

  • Choose fitted pieces to show off your favorite parts about yourself…ex: if you like your arms, wear tanks. If you like your legs, wear shorts. 
  • Always wear sneakers for a sporty look.
  • Mix & match oversized & fitted pieces… ex: bomber jacket with leggings.
  • Accessorize with a backpack or water jug.
  • Dress it up! Pair a jean jacket or cardigan over your sporty, casual outfit to add some taste and style.

Don’ts 

  • Don’t add blouses or super baggy t-shirts with your outfit. It looks sloppy.
  • Don’t wear everything oversized. The point is to wear something you can actually workout in but wear outside of the gym as well.
  • Don’t wear heels with your track pants or joggers. It does not look right!
  • Don’t wear so much flashy jewelry that you actually wouldn’t wear to the gym

Tanks

Tank tops are not only cute, but very useful in working out or during the summer because they keep you cool..preventing your body from overheating. Tanks can be worn in every season of the year too…just throw on a zip up jacket if you get chilly

                        

Hoodies/Sweatshirts

Pullovers or zip ups are great to wear not only when it’s chilly, but also when it’s warm. It makes you sweat more, therefore making your body release more toxins. Keeping your muscles and joints warm increases your performance and range of mobility…also, it lowers your risk of injurty

                                                              

Joggers/Leggings

Not only are joggers and leggings more comfortable to workout in, but they help keep your muscles warm as well…preventing any chances of muscle strains. I personally think joggers give off stylish street-wear vibes. Leggings are more fitted and easier to mix and match with.

Sports Bras

Sports bras are super fun and easy to layer with! They’re super handy on really hot days when it almost feels too hot to workout. Wearing vibrant colors/patterns with your sports bras makes it stylish to color coordinate with.
